November Thanks.

November truly was a whirlwind of a month filled with many wonderful things.

It was busy. And exhausting. But so great!

In cliché blogger fashion, I thought I better make a thankful list before November is too far behind us.

November 2013 Thankful List

I'm thankful that it hasn't snowed yet. Mostly for the fact that it didn't snow during Practicum when I had to drive to Riverton everyday. (Stephen is going to kill me for that one - he REALLY loves the snow.)

I'm thankful for my apartment. Although it's old and cold and we recently found that water was leaking onto stuff in our closet - it's cozy and it's MINE. (Well, mine and Stephen's :) - even better!)

I'm thankful that I got to spend thanksgiving surrounded with family and friends. My two older sisters and their husbands and kids made VERY long drives (from Washington and Texas) to be able to spend the holiday with us. And I am truly grateful for their sacrifice :) I'm convinced that my nephews and nieces are some of the most entertaining children on the planet. Like when we were showing Emerson a nativity and he said while pointing to each person, "There's Jesus, and Mary, and Joseph Smith!"

I'm thankful for my job. For the people I work with, for my paychecks, and for getting paid to learn stuff about photoshop and video editing software. Sounds like the best job ever right?!!! (It is.)

I'm thankful for Stephen. Even though he is a brat about some things ;). . . he really is my best friend in the whole world and makes me laugh every single day. He knows exactly what to say to put a smile on my face and every day I realize more and more how lucky I am to be married to the man of my dreams. For years I've imagined how great it would be to spend a holiday (such as Thanksgiving and/or Christmas) with him and I FINALLY got to! That might just make this Thanksgiving the best one yet :)

Also, I'm grateful that for the first time in my entire life - I did NOT eat myself sick on Thanksgiving day! I only took small bits at a time, and stopped while my pants still fit. If that's not a sign of adulthood I don't know what is.

(It seems like I may have forgotten to mention that Stephen and I have a two year old son! ;))

I can't believe it's already December and Christmas break is just a short few weeks away!
Can't wait :)

PS Can't take credit for the pictures - all but the last four of pool were taken by my sister Sarah :)
