five photoshoots in nine days! // so many people being willing to help with Lydia so we could pack/clean/move out of our apartment // Hruska's Kolaches // the first Hokulia trip of the season (it did not disappoint!) // Lydia waving at Stephen (unintentional but completely adorable) // staying with the Gordons // getting two new shirts from Brickyard Buffalo // Stephen being done with school and not starting work for a few weeks so we can party all day!!! // Miriam's birthday dinner with Gram&Grandpa in midway (this was a while ago, but I haven't done a merry happy list since easter! yikes!) // adventures in baby-led weaning (aka Lydia painting on the table with avocado pieces and getting part of one of them into her mouth) // Lydia laughing hysterically while being pushed around in the red and yellow car that is an iconic image of every 90s kid's childhood // new summer sandals // discovering how much Lydia loves my seven peaks pass (from three years ago..) and the peanut butter lid

Stephen: "Here I raise my apple-sneezer..." sung to the tune of Come Thou Fount, shortly after Lydia sneezed while holding an apple slice (Stephen says this was one of those "you-had-to-be-there moments" so other people probably won't think it's as funny as I do, but I'm recording it because at the time it was hilarious.) 

Grandpa, after playing a few rounds of scattergories, "You'll have to show me where you keep that game so I can hide it."

Stephen: "1, 2, 3, 4, I declare a thumb war! 5, 6, 7, 8...I think thumb wars are great! Wait..How does it go again?"
